This year I have been lucky enough to once again head along to Web Directions South in Sydney. There's still a day to go, but I thought I would share a few thoughts about the main focus I felt coming out of day one. There are four tracks at WDS this year so my observations [...]
The more time I spend in Wollongong, the more little pockets I discover where there are exciting things going on. I wrote about this a little while ago, but have been thinking more about it recently. There is so much great brewing in Wollongong at the moment. Artists, Designers, Startups and Entrepreneurs. A 21st century [...]
Attending WordCamp Sydney the other weekend was a really great time - lots of inspiring and interesting people talking about stuff that changed the way I think about, and do, my work. Well i've been back in Wollongong for a little while now since heading over to New York to pick up the Webby Award. I'm astounded and grateful for the generosity shown by my supporters. Without their help I never would have made it over there at all. The awards themselves were amazing. It was great [...]
It's been about 9 months since we arrived in Wollongong, and although it was a familiar place, it feels like only recently that I have been getting a better feel for what's going on around the city.
